Motoring with our Maniac

— Dina Morishita — on the Red Velvet set
"Nobody kills my girl, alright?"
A chance encounter at a laundromat between a young man and young woman turns into an afternoon lunch date. As they get to know each other, bizarre stories begin to unfold, some fact, some fiction about their pasts.
"A psychopath punishing people for having a good time. That is so tired, and so derivative."
Eventually, the Young Man delves into a story about a birthday party whose guests began to be systematically killed off by a maniac in a white jump suit. The Young Woman, oddly enough, becomes more and more intrigued with the twisted and wandering tale as the mayhem mounts.
"Look what you're wearing. … What, are we going to the Cabaret in the forest?"
Are we witnessing the beginning of a beautiful relationship or a building block leading to a day ending in madness beyond fairy tales, chaos beyond the bounds of friendship?
"Everybody always wants to know why. … This is real life. … There IS no why."
Perhaps as a matter of convenience, perhaps laziness, we opened here basically with our IMDB description. The entire Team has worked very hard to make this movie much more than typical horror fodder, however, a fact you've likely picked up on if you've spent any time over at redvelvetmovie.com before coming here.
Considering that you'll know I'm biased about the whole thing, I opted to simply throw in a very few of my favorite quotes in the mix here. Honestly, we're all looking forward to hearing yours.
